GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment Review

Ahhhhh, facial masks. They always give me that fresh and clean feeling, like I’m giving my skin a do-over. But there’s one in particular that I can’t seem to stay away from.

GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment

I’d heard wonderful things about this product, but one look at the price tag in Sephora and I practically laughed my way out the door. $70 for a little jar of “mud?” No thanks. A few months later, however, I was shopping at TJ Maxx and felt my jaw drop when I spotted the little silver jar in their beauty section. I have no idea how this good luck fell upon me, but I bought it at a discount and never looked back.

The Claims

“This formula was clinically developed by GLAMGLOW® dermatological chemists to help fight all common skin concerns including breakouts, discoloration, black and white heads, razor bumps, and in-grown hair. Powerful, skin-clearing mud visibly draws out dirt and congestion while a proprietary six-acid blend dramatically brightens and softens skin. It works to magnetically draw out dirt and pores with Activated-X Charcoal, leaving skin smooth and healthy-looking.” (www.sephora.com)

How I Use It

You’ll open the tub to find the product with a thick, almost gritty texture. The first time I used it, I put it all over my face…please don’t do that. So little of this beloved product is given to you for the price that what I’ve taken to doing is using it as a spot treatment. I place a thin layer of the mask over problem areas and watch the dark mud dry out and turn to a light gray color.

The Benefits

This treatment is the fastest-acting remedy for blemishes I’ve ever tried. It seems to absorb impurities and dramatically improves spots overnight. If you have problem with acne or impurities, GlamGlow is about to be your new best friend. I’ve struggled with acne for a long time and having this product in my skincare arsenal has given me peace of mind knowing that I can do something about it. I know the price is steep, but ask to try a sample at Sephora first and you’ll see why you should splurge!

Have you tried any other Glam Glow products? I’d love to hear about them, I’m very curious about the brand now!
